I, Melby (“Nana”), established Nana’s Place in 2006 due to my strong desire to create a quality daycare where children are able to learn, enjoy, and feel cared for.

 

I am a proud mother of 2 boys and 1 girl. I have over 25 years of experience caring for pre-K to elementary age children. From 1991-2006, I have worked as a nanny for working families in the Bay Area some of who had children with special needs. The best job I have everd had is being a Nana. Because of my extensive experience along with being present daily at the daycare, I am able to educate and assist first-time parents which is something that I enjoy very much. 

 

I like to think of my daycare as your child’s home away from home where working parents can have the peace of mind of knowing that their children are not only cared for but are also learning and being helped in achieving their essential developmental milestones.
